Travel information:

A flight from northern Europe to Athens takes about 3 hours.

The journey with a car from Athens to our house takes about 3 hours and 40 minutes. It's a beautiful and tranquil road: until now the new highway A7 is open for traffic some  kilometers past Megalopoli, from there consisting of 2 or 3 lanes. The highway will lead unto Kalamata. The planning is it will be finished in the spring of 2012.
The travel time then will be 3 hours and 15 minutes.

The journey with a car from Kalamata to our house takes 45 minutes. The road is winding itself trough the mountains, villages and along the coast with spectacular views.

Auto rent from Athens airport, prices start at 300 euro's for 2 weeks.
